We provide a wide selection of 'made to order' wedding cake options for collection or delivery to venues in Killarney, Kenmare or Tralee.

What do we offer?

In terms of some specific details that may help initially - Here is some useful information

We offer Delivery and Set Up - at venues in Killarney, Kenmare and Tralee - 7 days a week. And we also have a 25% discounted Collection Option - from our premises in Killarney. (Suitable for transport anywhere within Ireland) - 7 days a week.

Nationwide Delivery - We would like to be able to offer dummy wedding cakes for delivery nationwide, but the feasibility of this option is still in development.

Local Delivery Options -

Popular Buttercream Designs - We offer delivery of a selection of one, two and three tier wedding cakes in a variety of designs from the most popular options we get asked for. Some personalisation is possible with this range. This buttercream wedding cake option is available for local delivery at venues in Killarney, Kenmare and Tralee.

Wedding Dessert Tables (Self-Serve Builder) - Our new Wedding Dessert Table option incorporates our previous Cake Tower option. Couples can choose a single-tier wedding cake from our One Tier collection (Designs 1–8), then build their own spread of 50, 100 or 150 freshly-made desserts from three different price categories — Classic, Signature and Indulgent. Pick exactly the flavours and quantities you'd like, with vegan*, gluten-free* and nut-free* options available throughout. Available for delivery and on-site setup at venues in Killarney, Kenmare and Tralee. Pay €100 deposit to reserve your date, balance due 30 days before the wedding. Some personalisation of variations / flavour combinations is available subject to diary availability.

Collection Options -

Wedding Cakes - In 2023 we introduced our new wedding cake collection option. This option is discounted by 25% and includes a range of designs and sizes that are suitable for self transport to your venue. It has proved very popular for couples getting married as far away as Galway, Dublin, Wexford, Limerick and Cork, as well as venues in Sneem, Dingle, Listowel, Tralee, Kenmare and even a few within Killarney itself.

Most couples find it easier to discuss options by email or phone, however if you would like to meet in person then this is possible too. We do not charge extra for face to face wedding cake appointments. However, we will need to agree a date and time to meet for the diary though as we cannot take random walk in's to the shop to discuss wedding cakes without prior appointment.

Our free delivery area includes all venues in Killarney, Tralee and Kenmare.

There is currently no price difference for any of the different wedding cake flavours, even the chocolate ones...

We can also provide personally designed acrylic cake toppers from a company based in Dublin. These are available in gold, rose gold, silver, black, and wood. They can be designed to totally suit your requirements. The name of the company we deal with is www.craftyletters.ie - The cake toppers are available as part of our wedding cake price package.

We can offer the use of a range of cake stands at no extra cost. Subject to availability. These need to be reserved for your date.

We source our cake flowers as required from a local florist, or if you prefer to order cake flowers from your own florist or do not want cake flowers then we can adjust our price accordingly.

We are usually closed between Christmas Day and New Years Day.

There is no requirement for a minimum order.

If you need to discuss Gluten Free, Vegan or Dairy Free options with us then we can talk though what we can offer in more detail.

If you want to reserve your wedding date, then please check if your date is available and if we can deliver to your venue. You can ask Anna, our online assistant who can tell you about date availability, delivery locations etc or you can contact us direct.

You can reserve / confirm / secure your date in the diary at any time with a €100 deposit - subject to date availability. Due to the number of inquiries we receive - The deposit is only refundable upto one year before the date of your wedding. After this date the deposit is not refundable, however we can issue a voucher to the value of the deposit, if you want to cancel your order with less than 12 months notice. Any balance you have paid will always be refunded in full at any time, minus the €100 deposit.

In the event that you wish to make changes to your order, we will always endeavour to make any amendments anytime if required, however to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding, any and all changes only apply once agreed and confirmed by O'Carrolls Cakes in writing by email.

The balance is required at least one month before the wedding date.

We prefer online payment by debit or credit card using our secure payment providers Stripe / Bank of Ireland. However, we can also take payment by cheque, postal order, bank transfer, revolut and cash if required.
